    Hot or cold?

I recently just moved from Illinois to Southern California. I live in the mohave desert and sometime it gets up to 115 degrees here. Well here is the problem ever since we moved here my car has been running rough and it doesn't seem as fast. Could it be because of the CONSTANT hot weather? It never get's cold here and is almost always above 80 degrees. What can I do to fix this? Besides move back to Illinois ( i would love to but am affraid the military wouldn't like that lol )

Wait until you get transfered again or put in a request too, when they laugh and deny you the request, they will send you someplace completly opposite of where you wanted to be as punishment and then your car will hate you for as long as you own it
All joking aside though I give you my respect for fighting for our country, good luck and best wishes too you atriot:

Yes, hot weather will cause your car to run "not so good". If you understand how nitrous oxide works, you should understand what "hot air" does or doesn't do for your motor... Try these parts in this order until your problem is corrected. 1) 160* Thermostat w/ additive 2) Manual fan switch 3) Electric water pump... If that doesn't work, let me know.

Do a force relearn...your car is used to driving around in Illinois altitude. I usually just disconnect the battery and turn the key to the Run position to discharge any stored energy. Let it sit like that for a few minutes and then drive around for a complete drive cycle...usually takes about 40 miles.

You don't need a electric water pump, manual switch or a 160 stat. The stock stat is fine...you might want to lower the low/high fan on/off temps with a tune. A good back flush couldn't hurt..along with some purple ice or water wetter additive.
