Looking for RPO R9P. What I have found does not make sense.
I found a 1999 Formula WS6 1LE that has RPO R9P. The only I have found is this -
R9P - POWER PACKAGE INCLUDES: POWER DOOR LOCKS RETAINED ACCESSORY POWER, POWER WINDOWS INCLUDING EXPRESS DOWN DRIVER'S SIDE DUAL POWER SPORT MIRRORS POWER ANTENNA STE - ASM PLT ST. THERESE
This car has no power windows, no power locks, no power antenna etc..
The other codes op the RPO tag confirm this also.
This code must mean something else for a 1999 F-body. I know some codes have been used for different options over the years.

Unfortunately, gm are a bunch of assholes who will not list what their control sales items are online, all I know is it is, "Control sales item no. 90".

IDK, maybe it is the RAP code, I thought these cars from 1994 on up all had the Retained Accessory Power module. Does your car's radio still play when you shut the car off until you open the door? That would be the RAP module in control. You don't have pwr windows, so the description is what the RAP could control if you had those options.

From my understanding 1LE represents power delete. Your car may have started out with all the power accessories, represented by R9P, and then gone through the 1LE conversion stripping your car of the add-ons. When a car gets the 1LE conversion it adds a better suspension but is gets the car into a "race ready" state and therefore no need for the power accessories. Just a theory, but may help.

I did not know that 1LE was a conversion. Unfortunately the car is not mine. I found it on E-bay for sale. They provided a picture of the RPO tag. I have never seen a 1LE Formula WS6. I just wanted to look up all of the codes out of curiosity. I wish I had the extra cash for this car.
Here is the link if anyone wants to see the car.

I think there is another white WS6 formula 1LE around here. I think one of the Columbus, OH f-body guys owns it if I remember correctly.

sounds like the guy selling it really knows his stuff, and knows all the numbers.
Me personally, I will take a .2 or so seconds slower in the 1/4 mile, to have a all those heavy options.
i like my ttops, I like my power locks, and windows, and my leather etc.
