definitally gonna happen
question is does a 3.73 gear fit the 2.73 carrier i have
if i have to buy a carrier i will get the 12 bolt

you can buy 3.73 gears made for the 2 series carrier. That is what I have.

well a $190 gears set looks better then a 2000 rear axle, not saying it wouldn't be worth it but im not running a stall it it so the 10 bolt should be fine, by the way whatexactly breaks in those 10 bolts,

I highly do not recommend running the spacer on your 2 series carrier to make a 3 series gear work. There are a few companies making 3 series gears that fit the 2 series carrier though.
As far as what breaks in the 10 bolt........everything.

well i think i will give it a try even if i do end up going with a 12 bolt couldn'l i sell the 3.73 posi to a truck guy with a 4.3 , or will it not bolt up, maybe i can sell him the gears and carrier
