What tuner to Buy

I have a 98 firebird, I recently installed a 98 LS1 into. Works great. I used a hypertech to change the rear end and some minor stuff. I have the car working perfect now. Since she is 100% now i want to start to change more. I dont like how the hypertech trans features, and i want to start taking off the egr, AIR, rear o2 (currently running simms) Install a cam and other fun stuff. What software is better, Hp Tuners or LS1 Edit?
