honestly i would rather perfer a lil more mils out of them since i cruise a lot then street race a lil less. but really dont want to wast money on great traction if im just going to be just be driving a good amount of time to get there.

BUT SEEN THAT NEW MODEL OF THE M/T STREET TIRE, BUT STILL IS KINDA NEW FOR ANY INFO FROM LOCAL SHOP

If you race on them at all....
    Nittos will go 10-12K miles.
    MT's will go 3-4K miles.

I run the Nittos as a street tire and currently run the MT's as my drag tire.
Will be purchasing another set of Nittos soon, but I will be going a different route for drag DOT.

    FYI om Nittos

    Hello Folks

Just thought I would throw this out there.
I have been running Nittos Extreme 555 for the past couple of years, Seems to handler great , hook up pretty good and look bitchin'.....

    But the coolest thing!

While having to replace a damaged tire a couple of weeks ago, I came across on Ebay an auction from Discount Tire online selling 285/35/18 Nittos for 800.00 for 4-free shipping. I called the 800 number and spoke to "Ben". He sold me the (1) tire I needed at $200 (free shipping) delivered to my door two days later.

Best deal I have found and Discount Tire is *1 in customer service here in Phoenix,Az

I've been running the same pair of 555r's for 3 years now on back (about 7,000 miles) and I still have at least 50% of the thread left. I know MT's are good for the track but I've found out if you do a good 1-2 gear burn out on the Nitto's that they hook up great! I've pulled steady 1.90-1.92 60 foot times with my T/A weighing a little over 3800lbs. That's with me in it during the weigh in.

    Nowhere near that.
3800 with driver is a little heavy actually.
That is where mine weighs in with me as well. And I have a heavy iron block and heavy Moser 9".

That was weighed at Milan Dragway on thier scale. The scale operator said it was very accurate. The nitrous kit with nearly a full bottle and my sub box that it is hid in adds about 65lbs.
Got to go, vacation time for me.
