Code 2 Sensor Heater Malfunction
I had a Check Engine go on. Last weekend I check the code with a Code Reader. The Code reader did not show any disturbance in the force, thus, I erased the code.
I had another Check come on today. The code reader is a "02" stating that there is a Sensor Heater Malfunction.
If you know the remedy to this, please enlighten me. I thank you very much as always!
Matt

I am curious as to whether you have longtube headers? If so this is common thing that will happen from time to time. I am not exactly sure why but for some reason with longtube headers it will take the o2 sensors a little bit longer to heat up cuasing it to throw a code sometimes when it does take longer. I agree with said above though,...if it keeps doing it consistently then just change the sensor.

Super Flow!
Hello Slick!
No long tube headers here...... but 3 inch pipe exhaust with Magnaflow!!!
The code has not returned since I have cleared it.. purchase the vehicle at least 2 months ago.... alot of shit has gone wrong with it including the rear engine seal, pulley squeak, etc. It accelerate like a bat out of hell with the new exhaust system I installed at 118000 miles. What's worse is that it accelerates better than my show car that has only 11,000 miles.
Based on your reference, I think you are right about the sensor........ The quick heat exhaust must be bringing it on. Honestly, the new exhaust gives the vehicle really good and quick rear flow ventilation!!!!
Good day man,
Matthew

Silver Sucker
Kyle!!!!!
Freakin Yah man! Shit, if you followed my threads, you know what is up with this vehicle hahahahah Fuck... I'm sitting here giggling inside over your comment. It's been an experience with this vehicle! But shitttttt man, I have dedicated so many hours to this vehicle including the CETA mod etc. Shit, it's still leaking the Rack and Pinion since I posted, but hell, the LUCAS formula has assisted. I think I can get away with this vehicle until the New Camaros come out.
Check back with the threads man.... I'm getting Custom stripes designed and should arrive next week. It took those designer more than a month already to come up with the Rally Stripes. The vehicle is going to look unlike any other TA on this board with the stripes. They resemble Corvette stripes.
Gootttttttttttttta Hang with this Silver Sucker!!!
hahahahah!!!!!!
On the flip side, at least I have my RED TA to fall back on hahah!
Matttttttttttttttttttttttttttt
