Joined the dark side...
How's it goin LS1? Well long story short, i had a 99 mustang GT. Had it for 6 months, ultimately got tired of spending heaps of money fixing miniscule shit that broke. Bought my 2001 Trans Am, and i'm in love. Im surrounded by GM in town, all my buds drive em. It was only a matter of time... Anyway, i was an active member on mustang forums before i bought it, i figured i'd join an LS1 forum accordingly. Ill post up some pics of her in the Members section

Hey, what kind of shit needed replacing on the stang? From what I have experienced, parts that needed replacing werent that expensive nor unpredicted. But what did you experience?

Thanks for the welcom. Uhh lets see...clutch twice, throwout bearing twice, flywheel once, couple of the interior electronics failed, the ring gear cracked, spider gears in the limited slip stripped, engine started knocking like mad (after mild driving, only ever driven it 3 or 4 times, never bouncing the limiter. Never found out what was making it knock...), suspension all around was squeeky and both rear calipers seized. Odd part is, it didnt have high mileage and had been taken care of. But id already dumped a couple thousand into it, cut my losses and got rid of it. Kind of disappointing for a 10 year mustang lover to finally get one and find out its a POS...
