Red- 1970 Chevelle
5.3 with LS2 Heads and Cam
I have a 5.3 2004 Silverado
I just purchased an LS2 out of a 2006 GTO for my 1970 Chevelle. I am going to upgrade the cam/pushrods for sure and possibly the heads. So instead of selling the LS2 heads and cam I figured I could use them on my Silverado.
Has anyone else put a LS2 cam and 243 Heads in/on a 5.3? I think they are compatible, correct me if I am wrong. Also how much tuning is involved and who is able to do this? The Silverado is my daily driver so it must be a quick turn around.
Thanks for your input.

yes, it will interchange. should do pretty good. the only thing i'm not sure about is valve to cylinder wall clearance.
