    NEW PRODUCT: 2005-'06 Volant Induction

    2005-'06 GTO Volant Induction

We are now taking orders for the new Volant induction for the 2005-'06 GTOs.

Volant Cool Air Intake Systems are revolutionizing the way a true COLD air intake should be manufactured. Volant engineers each vehicle application to give the customer a quality intake that fits and installs like OEM. Volant modifies the air intake duct and filter box by reducing intake restrictions, rerouting and increasing the diameter of the new air duct without removing any OEM sensors from the vehicle. All intake systems are molded with a high-grade X-Link polyethylene material to insulate the air box from conducting as much heat as would metal.

    Features
Volant Filter Box: Cross-link polyethylene filter box is engineered to specific design. It insulates and protects the filter from pulling hot air from the engine compartment, thus, increasing horsepower.

Volant Air Duct: Cross-link polyethylene air ducts are sculptured to give the engine a less restrictive air pass to breathe. Larger diameters, unique bends and smooth transitions gives you maximum horsepower and awesome throttle response.

Volant Ram Filter: Cleanable and reusable high grade filter media reduces air restriction and increases engine output. Precision pleat geometry optimizes airflow throughout the intake system.

High Performance Silicone Connectors: High performance silicone hose connectors provides flexibility while maintains strength and thermal stability.

Stainless Steal Clamps: Marine grade clamps allows optimal performance with large operating range and available for virtually any application which requires maintainability and versatility.

    15860150 2005-'06 Volant Induction GTO K+N AirCharger induction $259.99

I wish they made one of these for the 04. I like the design and theory behind it.

Nah, the 05/06 throttle body and sensor connections to the tube and everything are different. and I believe the angle is slightly different as well.

What kind of HP gain do you think we can expect on a stock engine?

With no tuning, maybe 8 at the wheels, with tuning...maybe 12-15 at the wheels. But the important thing is that it is more free flowing which will allow you to rev quicker and get into your power band more quickly. Remember, performance is measured in more that just horsepower gains.

Correct .......to elaborate and utilize an anology...a A4....add a 3500 stall....now you did not add any RWHP....but yet you get to your power band much much quicker...thus...you did not add RWHP....but SOB it sho' makes a difference....
