Yep I am at work. From 700 am to 330 pm. I am a Lead Mechanic at a Airline in Denver. Planes still fly on christmas. I am getting paid double time and a half. $75.50 an hour today.

Shit, I dont work holidays anymore. I got payed 48.50 and 29.10 and it was not worth it. Uncle Sam loved it though.

I would rather have time off and get payed regular wage for drinking some beers.

Im an EMT so i'm just waiting around untill i get a call. So far none.....

of course there's the added bonus that no one has needed EMT services so far today. Don't worry, it won't cut your job security too much, there'll be a dumb ass, but it's nice that so far there's no Christmas emergency life or death thing.

I'm 1/2 way through my shift so I've made a little over $200
