I like procharge better and I know they make more power but my ride is very low and the ATI kit hangs lower then the front sway bar. (fear have hitting it on speed bumps) So I wanted to see how Votech kit looked installed.

What hangs lower? I run a Prochager with a Eibach Prokit.

My buddy has a vortech installed, the non intercooled version. You will need a different hood. Trust me! Even with a ram air hood on the WS6's, the stock hood needs to be cut to fit. Here's a pic of a vortech installed

You will hit other things like your K-memeber or headers before you hit the blower and tubing for an ATI! Do not worry speed bumps are not an issue with an ATI kit.

I hope you right.. it just makes me nervous seeing the compresser down there. I'm a very concussio of whats on the road but some time life just throws somthing in front of you. You know what mean. I really prefer the ATI kit over the vortech plus I can keep my strut brace on as well. I'll take your guys word that it should be fine. So thanks for the pic and all the help

I have the non intercooled kit and a Suncoastcreations hood.
This hood is not different than the stocker and the Vortech fits no problems.
It's the Camaro SS hood that has to be modified.

The blower unit will never touch the ground. You will destroy your front-end before that.

I have scraped the little rubber flaps on the Intercooler though.

    Ed,

What surge valve do you have on there?

I see. How does it sound? I have the stock one still. I wish I had one that was a little louder!

It sounds good. But since I have an A4, I only hear it when I let up on the throttle. With a M6, it would sound sweet!

Thanks for the procharger picture Packy. I now see that the ducting runs through the lower raditor shroud and I cant have that. My car is too low and I scrape that part all the time. I cant afford if I damage the ducting or the blow off value.

How low is your car. My friend has a lowered camaro and he has to watch everywhere he goes as well. I'm not a huge fan of lowered cars so I tell him just to put it back to stock ride height so he doesn't have to worry about anything. Maybe that's what you should do so you can run that pro charger. To me it would be worth it. You may sacrifice appearance but who cares, then you can run the procharger.
