    Talking 97 t56 in a 98 a4 T/A: will it work?

    I'm trying to swap my 4l60 for a t56-

    I found a guy selling a complete swap kit from his 97 camaro for $1200. I'm told the bell housing will definitely not fit. Does anyone else know what will/won't work? Should I pass on this and wait for a 98+?

    AD:
    t56 6 speed includes trans,bell housing,engine plate,flywheel,clutch,shifter,master cylinder,slave cylinder,slip yoke and all bolts everything you need to convert over

    If anyone else out there knows anyone wanting to do a swap please contact me!

    From what I understand.. the LT1 tranny won't match with the LS1 engine....
