    Centerforce DF Question.

    Hello,
Anyone running the Centerforce Dual Friction in an F-body, what kind of grab does it have? I ran a Spec III for awhile and the grab was about 1/2 inch of pedal movement for full engagement. Really quick. I loved that, but the hub chunked on me and I am hesitant to put another Spec in. I run a Dual Friction in my Big Block Chevelle and I like it. It is mechanically activated, so I am not sure about a hydraulic operated F-body though. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

I haven't heard too many good comments come from CF users. They didn't master the hydraulic clutch system like they did the cable clutches. They are however cheap, and you DO get what you paid for there. I wouldn't expect much more than about 6000 miles on it, depending on how you drive. I tried it and 7 months later I was installing a new clutch. There are some good reports out there on this clutch, but not many.
