    Lifters

    im in the process of changing heads on my car and decided while i was at it to go ahead and change the lifters while i was there. what lifters should i get. I dont know much about them as far was whats good or bad?

    lifters aren't necessary to change. if you want to, i suggest the crane OE lifters.
    Cold Air Intake, Muffler Delete, Vinci High Performance Dual Valve Springs, Hardened Pushrods, Yella Terra 1.85 Rockers, Some Hydropdipped Stuff, Strut Tower Brace, Some SS Badges, boost/vacuum gauge, fuel pressure gauge, some checkered stripes, drilled/slotted rotors, ZL1addons Stealth wickerbill, Ruxifey LED side markers

    My suggestion is Morel/Lunati lifters.
    These do require less preload so you will need a shorter pushrod to run them though.

    i already have Hardend stock lenght push rods. I would like to keep using them.

    then back to the crane OE lifters. i think comp makes an oe design lifter as well. would need to check their website or give them a call.

    There is only 2 companys that make lifters period....... Every after market gets the bodies from the same place the only difference is the plunger thickness and the spring rate under it. For what your doing the OE will be fine. If you were running a solid roller with triple springs choice might be an issue.

    i just went ahead and orders the GM ls7 lifters. sounds like it will work for me.
