I like the car but 16 grand seem pretty high priced for 52,000 miles. I could have bought a mint ws6 for 17 grand with M6 and 20,000 miles-just as a comparison-that car was in N. carolina.

My ls1 ws6 is long gone so...this is my attempt to get back into the lsx market... and after tossing around the vette idea for awhile, i just dont think i can swing it payment wise but... camaro is deffinatly sounding good. So see if i can get him down a little on the price?

in your first post you say your other car is going under the knife big time plus your looking at buying this car and in your last post you say you dont know if you can swing vette payments. a buddy of mine has a 97 vette w/80k for 15k fyi.

it's a good lookin SS, but i agree with Y2KPewterSS, you should definately get it down to like 15 or less (if possible) i got my Z28 for 11,500 with 59,000 miles and saw an m6 SS goin for 16,000 with only 26,000 miles the other day.

by swing vette payments i ment i was looking at new ones...its not really the greatest of ideas now for me financially considering whats pland for the t/a... I cant afford it because my cars going under the knife... 16k is more doable than 48... i dont want a c5, but im well aware of what i could pick one up for. I also know my way around an LS1 f-body, i had a 99 T/A that was almost full bolt on.
Going to check this one out tommoro... he says price is negotiable so ill see if i can get him down to 15. Im really liking the sounds of everything so far. Bank said i shouldnt have a problem. Seems to all be moving in the right direction. thanks for the advice guys. Just another quick question... any one have a pic of an SOM SS with chrome c6 wheels on it? Just want an idea of what my wheels are gonna look like on there.

Tell him you will give him 14k immediately- if he doesnt bite tell him thanks and act like you about to walk off and if he doesnt say anything then offer 14.5K- you can always go up but once you offer 15k your stuck. Not trying to tell you what to do man-just trying to help. Good luck!

haggle haggle haggle, i left my number with salessman when dealing on my hawk and about 2-3 hours later he was calling with counter offers and you will find (if your like me) that you are not as likely to give in to them if your not there starring at the car i have no patience though. good luck and it looks like a pretty good buy.

Artic White- 00 SS Vert.
Kelley Blue Book .com says private party value is $13,400.
But if you want to pay a little extra for the mods done.... $14000 is the most I'd pay for it. Make him an offer.

So im going to talk to the bank tommro night, hopefully go up and pick this thing up next weekend. Its in need of a tune, he never had it done after the cam install... Bogs a little but... other than that all good. Lots of pep for what little it has done to it. Ill post pictures when shes in the driveway!
