5.3 intake

does anyone know where to find a performance intake for a silverado 5.3 liter?
i was told that the ls1 intake would fit, but i would have to change all the belt driven accessories to a ls1 also.. i know i posted this several monthes ago but i forgot everything that i was told LMAO

Not much out there.......As far as the LS6 intake, the alternator and p/s bracket has to be cut in order to clear the throttle body since the ls6 intake sits alot lower than the truck one. The bottom of the TB needs to be grinded some in order to clear the top of the water pump. The pcv line goes to the small nip in the back of the intake also. barbed fuel line fittings are used to connect the fuel lines. evap sensor tucked behind the alternator (use a vacuum line to connect it to the front drivers side nip on the intake). since this intake was originally equipped with a cable style tb, you'll have to drill and tap for 1/8"npt / barbed fitting to hook up the passenger side valve cover vacuum line and plug the black vacuum cap. If you run a cable type throttle body you will need to mod a bracket. We used the LS1/6 bracket but positioning is a little off. I would recommend fabbing one, they're quite simple if you have some 1/16" stainless and a TIG welder.

i kinda thought it was a littl emuch to change everything over, i already have the ls1 tb, and had to mod the throttle cable bracket by moving it foward so it wouldnt run at a smooth 1800 rpm for idle LOL
