Slow down man, ..., Slow down.
And watch your puncuation. Wait, ..., there was none. What as I thinking?
SLP stickers don't mean crap.
What was the result of the scan test? P0401?
Someone else can tell ya what that means. I can't.
Did the guys at AutoZone tell what the P0401 meant?

That code corresponds to poor egr flow. Google search it and it will give you your answer. The only negative effect it will have is causing you to fail an inspection. If the car has aftermarket headers it probably has the EGR valve blocked off. This mod keeps the engine from injecting exhaust gasses back into the intake. It will get you better milage and a slight power increase. IF it is not already blocked off, do so, then take it to a tuner and have them tune the code out.
Or if you want your car on the up and up emissions wise, just pull the egr valve off and clean it with some carb cleaner then clean out the hoses too.
