New SLP Lid
I just ordered a SLP Lid and K & N filter for it. Any tips or cautions for installing them?

Pretty straight forward. A couple drops of liquid dishwashing soap makes the IAT sensor and grommet come out easier if needed. Rinse and dry thoroughly before reusing.

If you have the smooth bellows you may have to trim it back so it will fit correctly! Other then that the maf is a bitch to fit into the lid so like he said some lube helps everything. But just remember to wipe it off.......

Getting that MAF in is a real pain in the ass. I ended up using a rubber mallet to hammer it into the new lid.

Collector Yellow (54U)- 2002 Trans Am CE
I didn't have that much of a problem getting the MAF into the new lid. I had a bit of a time getting it out of the Stock lid, though.
