Firehawk question...

Hey guys i am currently checking out a 2000 trans am firehawk. Don't know too much about the difference between a trans am and one with the Firehawk package other than the badging hood and wheels. If any one could explain the differances id appriciate it. Also if you know an approximate value of one in excellent condition with around 80k on it.

yea you got it. basically rims, hood, floormats, suspension options, and different spoilers were optional in some years.

The biggest difference you will notice is asshats dont come up to you and say "oh, shoulda got the ram air, one of those would kick your ass."

nothing just the body differences. No mechanical differences. Formulas are rare compared to T/As.

Here is some info if interested. These are the stats from 99 1st firehawks (WU6) code 719 produced formula coupe hardtop 22 6spds/12 auto total 34.formula coupe t-top 39 6spds/33 auto total 72. T/A coupe 317 6spds/221 auto total 538. T/A coupe convertibles 40 6spds/35 auto. WS6 T/A coupes produced 2,765 WS6 T/A convertibles 467 WS6 formula coupes 175 of which only 20 of them had the 1LE suspension. 30th anniversary 1,065 coupes & 535 convertibles.in addition to the other WS6 Trans Ams. WU6 code for Firehawk pkg. standard firehawk content 327hp 5.7 LS1, all new firehawk exclusive composite hood with functional air scoops, hood mounted heat extractors, underhood forced air induction system,front fascia badge, perf. exhaust system, up graded susp.components, 17"by 9" aluminum painted wheels,firehawk275/40ZR17 SZ50 tires,exterior graphics on doors and rear fascia, dash plaque & 2 firehawk key fobs. available on formula coupe, ta coupe and convertible models. 80,000 mi depending on slp opts and condition guess $11,000- 14,000 just a guess.
