Gas Mileage

Just out of curiosity...how many miles do you guys get out of a full gas tank?

I am probably a bad one to ask but I only get 160 to 170. Different mods though made me go faster but took my fuel! New I think I was getting roughly 215 per tank without mods.

without mods i was 250 a tank, now lucky 170

My 98 is mildly modded and I get around 250.

On a 400 mile freeway road trip where I spent most of my time in the 70-80 mph zone in sixth I got 31.5 mpg.

When I drove from STL to Lafayette, IN, it took me 4 1/2 hrs and I got 350 miles in my tank...I get around 200 city driving...I have 80,000 miles and no mods yet...I am about to do the 80,000 mile tune-up....new plugs, wires and some other small stuff...hoping that changing those will net me even more from a tank!

I never let it get lower than 1/4 tank, want to be nice to my fuel pump.

I'd figure your average MPG and then do the math.

I got about 25mpg which would put me at about 400 miles a tank on a 15.5 gallon tank (for 98's)

I get about 300 or so out of 3/4 a tank. Like previously posted, I don't like to run it anywhere near E, I don't ever want to replace fuel pump. My 00 Z with 6spd gets about 30 highway, and as low as 14 city,,, depending how much I push it. No mods. Average mileage at the end of the year is around 23, not bad considering what it is capable of...

you really can't figure it by the tank full.Try by how many gallons you use...its simple,take the miles you drive and divide them by the gallons of gas you use..example we get 26 average take that X 16.5 gallons a full tank holds and you get 429 miles per tankful...your mileage may vary.TY you very much.

Don`t know cuz I never fill up all the way, added weight=slower car.

i dont drive it that much and when i do its short distances, but its my daily, i can prolly get 250 out of it when i put the cap back on my cutout. im sure that takes a lot out of it

also now i got a full racing transmission, and in 2 months a 3,000 stall is going in from EDGE.

anywhere from 200 to 275 per tank..

and as high as 27mpg. on hwy with mods and exhuast dump open!

i do all city driving and get about 260 per tank with slp lid and loudmouth exhuast, but i drive it like a granny and only floor about once twice to get that mileage, A4 trany.

My last tank was around 300 miles and my car is stock. I work in downtown Indianapolis, so I'm sure that doesnt' help out my mileage.

Damn...considering the performance of these cars, gas mileage is not bad at all.

yeah, no kidding. My 95 lesabre with the 3.8 v6 gets an average of about 25 highway at 75 mph. I was pretty satisfied with the numbers. My 97 Z averaged about 23 highway, and about 15 city.

I broke 400 the last tank 1605 gal I think. 00 SS M6. Mostly highway and either rushhour congestion so 60mph or a ricer behind me so I do 65 since they know they can't get around me. they hate it. 87 octone too
