Correct me if i'm wrong but i think stock it's 385...not sure if that's crank. They respond very well to mods as well. I would guess you are at 340....I suggest a cam and gears for your next mods.

Quick fix: 125 shot of Nitrous Oxide, drop the flowmaster, and a tune..... he won't want to race again....

Cobras were 390 from factory which most of them put 360-370 RWHP from factory. They say the motor #'s were conservative. My buddy put a 3.1 pully, heat exchanger and cold air intake on his with a tune and was 425 RWHP. On top of it they make great torque cause of that damn blower. If he has any kind of mods like this he will be glad to race again. They are quick cars. It pisses me off cause I just got done with H/C and supporting mods and he now has his blower ported and a smaller pully. I made 435 RW and he is at 500 RWHP with 100 more torque and he has spent about half what I did.

How is nitrous cheating? It's just another way to get oxygen into the cylinder....just like FI or more displacement.

As far the cobra...you'll need heavy mods to hang with a decently modded terminator (they didn't get that name for nothing).

fast is fast who gives a damn how you get there. I personally would rather make my power N/A but anyone who says nitrous is cheating is just looking for an excuse for having there ass handed to them

Its not cheating, just a cheap way to get more power.

I just raced my other friend with an 04. Hes got a pully programmer and exhaust. He pulled on me from a roll in 1st through half of third. He instantly jumped a car cause that damn blower. Tourque is everything.

    +1

Remember, it's a sugercharged engine. Put a Vortec Supercharger on yours and he'll be looking at your rear end the whole time.
