What happens if you throw a gear driving down the road at like 60mph. They are really cool looking but I don't think I would want to add un-neccesary moving parts to the inside of my wheels.

You would have one serious wheel balance problem. The bike would shake so bad you'd be lucky if you didn't get killed. One REALLY bad case of road rash at the very least. Ouch!!!

I really like the look of them, however I would think they'd slow you down too much. Moving parts and added weight=more rotating mass. Rotating mass sucks up horsepower. I realize not everyone needs to go fast, but do they want to pay the difference in gas mileage too? Who knows.

Cool, but you wont find them on anything I own.
