    Hypertech III Questions?

I have a 1995 LT1 T/A I recently did a 383 stroker in. I have just gotten the car broken in and I found this hypertech III tuner cheap so I bought it.

My question is there any specific things I need to look for when using this device? I have heard some say they work good and some say they suck.

I have not hooked it up yet, Im going to do a full tune this weekend.

Just looking for some advice from those who have used them. It looks simple and easy, I just don't wanna screw anything up!

you would be much better off just taking the car to your local tuner

wow, I seriously doubt an hpp3 could do anything for a stroked motor. I wouldn't do all that work and then trust the tune to an hpp3.

Well I did the programming last night! I wasn't looking to get an power out of the tuner. Mostly to change the transmission shift firmness, and tire size! also the electric fan settings. It done everything I needed it to so I was satisfied.

The tuner is very nice from what I have done, There is a power adding setting which I didnt feel any difference, But the transmission settings were nice. If you ever decide to change rear end gears or tire size its nice to have but if your looking for power not going to happen.
