A Canadian F-Body Guy!!
Hi guys--I am starting to get the itch again. It has been almost 4 years since I sold my '88 IROC-Z and now starting to look at getting back to the fbody scene. I plan on looking at 2001 or 2002's--I want something as new as possible that has been lightly modded already.
I definately want as A4. What things should I be aware of as I'm looking for one? Did A4's only come with 2.73 gears? that sort of stuff.
I am really looking forward to finding just the right car for myself and I'm even willing to travel a bit to find one.
Thanks everyone,
Bob
Here is a clip of the old IROC from the track--it ran a best of 13.79@102mph

A Tax by any other name is still a Tax.
If you buy a car in the USA, and import it into Canada, you will have to pay the "safety inspection fee" which I believe is $265. Then get it inspected (They pay the inspector $25). The fact that your car was made in Canada makes no difference.

I was thinking about moving to canada to pursue CAD draftsman jobs. It seems they pay a little more up there. I have some questions about the cost of living. How much is a gallon of milk? Eggs? Bread? Etc... Whats your average electrical bill? Cable? I can't find much on the web about this...
Oh Canada, we stand on guard for thee....the true north strong and free!

eautocad,
4 litres of milk $3.89
dz eggs $1.87
loaf bread $1.57 - good brand (can be as low as $0.99
Cable $60 p mo with a good package (speed, movies)
Heat - depends on the cold and heat average $250-300 p mo
Gas $.96 p/litre
Living up here.....priceless.......wouldn't move for the world. Love my town population 650,000.......AND.....I can be in Buffalo in 1.5 hours.

Born, raised, and hope to die in Canada. Will retire in the true north in two years. I'll bring my Camaro with me.
