Clearing not ready codes
I cleared a DTC code this morning and drove the car for about 35 miles. I then took it through inspection and it failed because it was still showing not ready. What do I have to do to get the computer to show ready?

You mean you failed some "readiness" tests? Try www.obdii.com/drivecycle.html What code did you clear? Did you fix whatever was throwing it?

You have to run the car for about 100 miles after codes are cleared in order to satisfy the diagnostic/rediness test....

NBMZ28- The code I cleared had to do with the security system and that has been resolved. Now I find out that I didn't have to clear that code to pass inspection. Thanks for the link. BatCar, thanks for the help
