    Headlight won't pop up?

My headlight on my 2000 T/A won't pop up. It's just the driver's side. I can't hear the motor or actuator even trying, so I don't think it's the gears. It there a way to find out for sure before I order a new actuator?

I am tired of manually screwing them up and down.

there is usually a grinding noise you'll hear if the motor is still working. If that is the case the gear is probably stripped. What you can do is remove the gear and turn it upside down the gear only uses Half the teeth so when one side grinds down the other side is usually still good.

Should be able to find someone locally who has done this or maybe someone on here can explain exactly how to do it better.
