ls1 to ls2

I was wondering how much it costs to completely due an engine swap (motor and install from a shop) from an ls1 to ls2 or is it cheaper to buy an ls1 and modify it for big numbers.

it is cheaper to modify your current block b/c even if you get an ls2, it's still an all stock ls2. It's meant to do what the factory standardizes. If you take your engine, and upgrade all of the components, it may cost just as much, but you'll get a much more gratifying bang for your buck.
