it just a piece of metal that covers a tube that used to be connected to the egr. If you rip out our egr then you need the block off plate. Egr delete cleans up the engine bay, and you might gain 1 or 2hp by removing the egr from the manifold - letting the air enter without any turbulance.

yes, both egr delete and air pump delete will throw codes. But its just a stupid light. Either live with it or get it tuned out.

Tune it out with a good tune from a speed shop, and pick up HP at the same time. Can't beat that.

No belt on the air pump, it actually sits under the driver side headlight

here are the plates. Just have to pick in options which combos you want, ie EGR and AIR plus gaskets. ADD $10.50 and get all. for a total of $21.49.

I took out my EGR and my air pump tonight. Not too bad. I still have stock exhaust. Should I be worried? I know the air pump is there to cool the cats, but I am planning on getting Borla exhaust really soon.
    Thanx.

Air pump is not there to cool the cats, quite the opposite - it is there to help the cats ignite sooner than they would without, they only run on cold startup to speed up the cats igniting and becoming effective........
