Iron 6.0 Heads???
I have a iron head 6.0 out of a 3/4 truck. Are the iron heads worth keeping? Maybe for future Supercharging or Nitrous? Do these heads have good flow #'s? Any info would be greatly apprecieted, thanks.

I believe the block is iron and the heads are aluminum.
They don't flow great out of the box, but they tend to be used on LS1's for boosted applications to lower the compression.

Some models had iron heads and some had aluminum heads on the 6.0. They don't flow as good as an ls1 head stock unless you have the lq9 aluminum headed 6.0 that has ls6 style ports. Those heads are a little better. The 6.0 heads have 73 cc combustion chambers which on a stock motor yields about 9.4 to 1 compression. However with a good port job and spring and valve upgrade the 6.0 heads can make good power prefferable on a boosted setup. Although you could mill them some for a naturally aspirated setup with thinner headgaskets and see decent compression if one chose to do so.
