SOM- 1998 Trans Am
ram air air box..
this is the ebay # 130141172048 does this look like a good deal Ive seen them go on ebay for up to 200$ and the guy is sayin he will sell to me for 100? What do you guys think? Also I have an SLP lid, would it be fine to take the lid off the ram air and just use the SLP with the Ram air box? (ive got the ram air hood coming in moday-tuesday)

Yeah that should be fine.. I'm surprised you dont have that box already.. I have a Z28 and i got a ram air hood for it. There are no other modifications. You need the bottom piece and the stock lid, or your slp will work fine. You should already have it though...

well, my trans am isnt a WS6 or anything and it didnt have a ram air hood 2 start with. Also this air box is for a WS6 (so the opening is 2 inches at the bottom)

why not just get an SLP lid? much better then the stock.

ive got an SLP lid, I was wondering if I should also get the ram air box to make it any better since im gettin the WS6 ram air hood.
