Camaro SS Wheels
My 02 has the 10 spoke chrome wheels and the chrome is peeling off.
I am trying to decide the best option to correct this. I can get a good deal on some new 10 spoke aluminum wheels or I can look into getting these re-chromed. I understand it is difficult to find new 10 spoke chrome wheels because SLP has discontinued them. I received one reply already that this is a common problem with the chrome. Open to suggestions/ideas.
Thanks,

Thanks for the info. I realized I put this in the wrong forum, but for the
life of me I can't figure out how to move it or even delete it. I am new
to this forum stuff and will figure it out in time.
Thanks again

any ideas...? I have the same thing and was thinking of sanding the inside of the wheels with multiple stages and getting it to look polished and then clear coat it...?

Thanks for the feedback.
I have decided to go with different wheels.
I did get a quote for $1,000 to have mine re-chromed.
The idea was to keep the stock wheels, so I could hold
onto them if I want to go back to original in the future.
I prefer non chromed aluminum wheels anyway. This would
eleviate the worry of the chrome coming off.
Thanks
