Custom Fuel Rail Covers
Ok, so I was wanting to dress up my engine a little bit and have decided to get some FRCs. I know what I want; FRCs with a matching custom air box lid like so:
And I know where to buy them from, http://www.thecheckeredflagstore.com/frcs.php, I just don't understand the instructions that the site has posted. They make it sound very hard to install (saying it takes around 2 hours). Time is not an issue but I just don't understand some of their reasoning. So has anybody ever installed FRC and is it hard to do?

Yes, I've installed quite a few myself.
If you have some mechanical aptitude & small hand tools, you should be able to complete this within an hour or less.Last edited by PontiacFan; 11-30-2007 at 06:27 AM.

Yeah, I am 15. I took a bunch of shit when I first posted pictures of my car about how I am going to wreck it or kill another person on the road, but the truth is I don't want to race or show it off. I just like cruising in it with my t-tops out, and how well the thing handles.

I just got my hawk about a year ago when I was 16, slightly paid for but it was kind of passed down from my older brother.

Well my dad's first car when he was 16 was a brand new 1979 Brown Trans Am he bought new BYHIMSELF. So he promised me when I turned 16 he would get me a Trans Am. So I found one and had to pay for half. Pretty good deal. But he upgraded to an 2003 Vette in 03' so he always wanted another T/A so thats another reason.
