Carburated Ls1
I Recently Installed A Carbed Ls1 In A1971 Chevelle. My Question Is Where Do I Hook Up The Temp Gauge And Oil Pressure Gauge.

probably requires some tapping...i read somewhere you can use the place where the factory temp sender is located on the front of the drivers side head for the temp, and there is an oil temp or pressure sensor located near the oil filter. Don't hold me to that.

Probably worst case
I know v6's and v8's are different but i'd say it's probably right next to the oil filter where the oil light sensor would be located. As for the temp plug, sorry i can't help on that one

I bought the fittings from Street and Performance at hotrodlane.cc. The water temp sendin unit goes in one of the heads and they give you a metric to standard thread adapter. The oil pressure sending unit goes in a hole near the oil filter that you have to drill and tap. They have illustrations on their site.
I'm trying to figure out what oil pan or mods I need to make to get mine in my 71 Chevelle. What did you use for mounts, oil pan, crossmember? I already have some mounts from S&P.
