Race style Pacesetters
I'm ordering Pacesetter LTs. I see they have 00-02 style or race style available. From what I've read, most prefer the race style but they set a code.
What do you need to remove the SES code? Is there a handheld code reader that will do it, or does it have to be a power programmer?

You'll need to have a car tuner to remove the EGR codes so you won't throw an SES. Don't think there is a hand held tuner for that.

Predator
My Predator with the latest revision will delete/disable 02. SIM's do work but I have read they too will fail after a time. Don't know it for fact...just what I have read.

you will not only throw an egr code but you will throw an air code as well. Any good speed shop has ls1 edit. That will take care of the SES. O2 sims will not keep you from setting these codes at all. I personaly just used ls1 edit and deleted all three, air, egr, and rear o2s. Of course where i live there are no inspections so i just did away with the converters all together.
