Another first Timer at the track
Today was the first time I have ever been to the track.
Had a great time and have some results I would like to share and get some feedback on.
rt --.490
60'--2.045
300'--5.726
1/8--8.726
mph 1/8--81.29
1000--11.348
1/4--13.562
mph--101.82
This was my best run today and was consistent with other clean runs.
I had a couple at the beggining that I made mistakes on but the times overall were very consistant.
BTW it is a 00 T/A A4, with 3.73's, Hptuners, and BFG DR's(315)
Bout 80-85 degrees.

Thats a good reaction time. Im sure you could do lower 13s if it was cooler outside though.

I wondered if the temp had a little affect on it.
Thanks for your input.

I went to Red River Raceway about 20 minutes north of shreveport.
Do you go to cherokee park?
It is owned by the same folks I believe.

I have been wanting to go to cherokee park but they are only open on Sundays. I would like to see what my car can do in the 1/4. On the eight my best so far with a Lid and Cutout and Nitto drags, its 8.70@83.70 with a 2.06 60 ft.

What is the altitude at that track?
I have a 02 camaro m-6 with a 3.42 gear/lid/K&N/ flowmaster/and m/t drag radials, and a dynotune wet kit . Here are a couple of time slips one is on motor only the other is on a 75hp shot of nos.

Not sure excatly how high we are but it is usually around 250' around this area.
I was expecting a little better.More around low 13's since I had the 3.73 put in but the car does have 100k miles on it so it's not a spring chicken anymore.
Next year I am planning to do some serious engine and driveline work along with some forced induction,so until then I just do what I can.
