I have been running no cats for about a week now. When I'm moving I never smell anything and the only time I smell exhaust is when I start it up in the garage. I hear a good tune can have your engine running just as clean as if it had cats.

by changing to an aftermarket exhaust with no or high flow cats you accually change your a/f ratio slighty. the fuel smell you get is really your car running slightly lean....odd, yes I know lol
a tune will fix the problem... I have LT's and 3" duals with no cats and I have no fuel smell
hope that helps

without cats your emissions will actually change drastically..... a tune will help some... but wont entire fix the problem. However, near stock you wont produce enough to make YOU smell, and it would only be at idle anyways. with my car since i have a ton of overlap on my cam my gf tells me every once in awhile that I smell like fuel.
