Brakes/Rotors....Do the fronts and rears have to be done at the same time or no??

My fronts are getting pretty bad, the rears I don't really notice. Is it alright to swap out the front rotors and brake pads now and save the rears for spring time or is that a mistake? Which take the brunt of the stopping force?

the front take around 75%. it is fine to change only the front.... just make sure to properly adjust the rears to ensure that they are helping and not just putting all the work on the front.

Forgot to mention this, and it might be a big deal in this situation....I am replacing the fronts with Brembo blanks and Hawk HPS pads.....the rears would still be OEM pads and rotors...I am beginning to think this isn't such a good idea
