Yeah it has issues with java. Sites like autotrader dont work worth a shit. Been using it for a while. Hope the release fixes it!

IE8 blows monkey balls. Damn compatability mode on everything. Hate it. Thankfully its only the beta.

Did you have any ie7 issues resolved after installing ie8?
Or did you just upgrade to upgrade?

Been using Windows 7 64-bit for a little bit now and IE8 came with (absolutely loving Win7 BTW). I haven't notice too much wrong with it. Though, it may be because of my preference of Firefox 2.0 over IE
After reading this, I went straight to Autotrader to see for myself and it's working good. Only thing I noticed is that the progress bar while searching for cars wasn't moving.Last edited by Mr Z; 01-28-2009 at 09:24 PM. Reason: Edit>Double post

Windows 7 does kick major ass. Very very stable for a beta and very fast. I'm loving it. IE8 on my Windows 7 machine is goin good, but the IE8 at work with our Vista machine sux. I hate having to click on compatabilty mode on 75% of the websites I go to. Other than that inconvenience, its not too bad. I've had my fair share of IE crashes, but its nice that it restores all your IE sessions once u reopen it.

Well, I've been having some ie7 issues lately. A lot of 'ie7 has stopped responding' error messages and restarts.
So, I'm giving ie8 a shot. So far, just a few add on problems. But, it hasn't even been 24 hours yet. So, we'll see
