Why no signatures?

the box to see signatures is checked in my options.
why cant i see my signature or anyone elses, in threads?

aw, come on it's so easy even a neanderthal could figure it out...

1) have a sig created. if it's using a pic from a website such as photobucket, you need to have the correct tags around it...
2) check the 'sig' box when you want to post a sig...
3) a sig usually appears only ONE time per page, not everytime you wish to post your sig (allows the pages to refresh faster). so choose wisely when you wish you show it...

Sig's are seen once per page. No reason to have them on every post.

Fellow caveman here, I finally ASSumed that the sig only came up once per user per page, but it had me scratching my sloping forehead and prominent brow. Im glad to see someone has the balls to ask the question that I was afraid to. "its my mom-I'll put her on speaker".

yeah I never really noticed the signature thing till lately durring the database errors, makes sense though, so the page loads faster.

mlpss, the forum is setup to only allow a user to post their sig once per thread. In an earlier post you posted your sig, so any other posts you make in this thread will not allow you to post your sig, nor is there any need for it.

i think there is a reason to have it in every post. for example, the train with hundreds of pages.... if i jsut joined the train, at page 499, id still like to see ppls sigs. its not important enough to me to go back thru those 498 pages to check everyones out... but it is cool to see them, so i would like them to be in every post. i dont see why not, they dont take up that much room

You can view their sig by clicking on their avatar.

But because we allow images in the signatures. Having the server display them on every posts would eat bandwidth.

Well maybe someone can help me then...

My sig NEVER shows up...not even on my first post in a thread. If you click my avatar though, its there.

What gives?? Help is appriciated.
