    Ignition Questions.....

i was in a shop the other day and fooling around with an MSD blaster ignition box. it was one of those demonstation pieces that allows you to see the spark from a regualar ignition and then from the MSD unit. the difference was HUGE! so i am forced to ask, though i know we have coil packs, would the ls1 benefit in a substantial way with an aftermarket ignition or is the factory one just as good with some msd type wires?

thoughts please....spark is not my strong suit at all.....

The stock coil-on-plug set-up has been used on countless 600+HP cars (mine included) with no problems. As long as the coils are in good shape with good plugs & wires, there is no reason to upgrade.
