hesitation question
I know I'm a n00b with alot of questions and I pretty much know the answer, but have a few more opinions to confer is always good. I have a small bit of hesitation around 60 or so when Im keeping constant speed. When I hammer it down it will take off like a bat outa hell. I think I just need a tune up. I have cleaned my k&n air filter. but as I said in my other thread about my computer saying I have a bad o2 sensor. some say it might be my MAF. Im just curious. any help is appresiated.

So what exactly are you asking? How many miles are on the ls1? When was the last tuneup? You said you cleaned your K&n, do you mean you oiled it? The guys in the the other post said too clean your maf with some crc maf cleaner or electrical cleaner.
K&n = issues

Yeah used the k&n recharged kit cleaned and oiled my filter. Not sure when the last tune up was, its got 84,700. the hesitation is very slight, kinda like when you hit top speed the factory setting will let you hit. but its only when Im going around 60 or 65 and Im maintaining speed. My question is what is causing this. I think I just need a tune up, it could be alot of things. any idea's?

Ok i just wanted too make sure we were on the same page, If it hasnt had a tune-up i would go ahead and knock it out. The usual, plugs, wires, filters,.
I ditched my K&n due too issues with grass in the intake and oil foulin out my maf. Since its due a tune up i would go ahead and do that and it should fix your issue. Also clean your maf.

You should clean the MAF anyways......I had a low RPM hesitation problem last year and I wasnt throwing any codes. i took the MAF apart and there was a little bit of black crud on there...more than likely from the filter oils seeping through at high RPM's. I cleaned it and the car ran 100% better.

I clean mine every 10k miles or so. Make sure you use a non-residue electrical cleaner.
