    Tire/rim size and lowering

Right now I have bone stock suspension and I have 275/40/17 tires all around. I'd like to lower my car down the road at some point, but can't afford it right now. I'm looking to get some chrome C6's wheels and i'll prally get 275/40/17 again so I can rotate them all around, save a lil weight and cash. This setup should be fine on a lowered T/A right? what kind of sizes would be too big for a lowered car... say on the eibach prokit? thanks

Sorry I never seen this thread this morning...

I run aftermarket springs and 11x17's 315/35/17 on all four corners (also can rotate tires) so yes you will be fine with 275/40/17 and could run the 315's on the prokit:

thanks for the reply... the 275/40/17's I have on the front rub the inside of the wheel well.... but it's not noticeable when you drive it. Wouldn't 315's be way too big for the front?

Actually there is allot more room in the front than there is in the back.

315's will fit fine in the front (some rims may require spacer) it is the back that normally needs some coxing with a hammer (BFH)
