Let the modding begin!! (finally ordered a catback!)
I've had my z28 for a little more than a year now and never did any mods to it since it was my daily driver. Mid-Dec. I picked up an '03 toyota 4runner to fill that title, and now the Camaro is good to go.
Can't wait to get the catback on the car. I've spend quite a bit of time deciding on which one to get, 1st I was thinking the SLP loudmouth but was reading tons of mixed reviews. Between using the forums and ls1sounds.com I decided on the Magnaflow. It seems to be just what I've been looking for; something with a nice sound, yet not so loud and obnoxious that the car becomes a pain to drive or get me in trouble. I got it for a nice deal over at performancepeddler.com, was debating where to get it from also but heard some pretty good reviews on them. SOOO happy to finally be modding the car, and just my luck winter is supposed to be kicking in next week, damnit! Guess we'll see what happens, just hope it's everything I'm expecting.

Ohhh I know it can only stay "simple" for so long...and that's ok! But hey, nothing too serious as far as $ is concerned for a while, school kind of kills that one REAL fast. It's good and bad, what can ya do.

Why couldn't you put a catback on a daily driver Z28?

Thinking that was the same night.
I need him to snap a couple launch pics this season if he goes down to photograph again.

It wasn't because it was my, I just didn't have the cash to throw around on the car when I first got it, or really the time to seriously look into anything. During the summer I bought another dirtbike and have been working 2 jobs since, quit 1 recently and I'm going back to school in about a week. The only reason I wouldn't have done it while I was daily driving the z28 was b/c all the catbacks I was considering were pretty loud, and I constantly heard/read/was told that a loud exhaust on the car you drive every day gets old; fast. Don't know if it'd hold true for me personally but don't have to worry about it anymore, it's not a nice-day only (and then some!) car.
