Running a Procharger. Very happy with it. Didn't have to cut my hood or tap my oil pan.

I agree with Ed. Also Procharger will run cooler than the others because it doesn't mount on top of your engine absorbing heat.
Hope that helps.

Yea guys i just came across the Procharger system... couple of questions...
1) how would you compare them to the other supercharger systems like vortech, etc... 2) how much power increase have you seen from procharger,
3) how much psi should i be lookin at
4) is it a centrifugal supercharger?
and last but not least...
5) does it sound like a monster....
when i came across the ProCharger series i was pretty happy with what i saw, especially price wise as opposed to like Vortech... keep your feedbacks coming and we will have another supercharged ls1 soon enough

1. Vortech's are also good. They do have a better belt system. But if you go with the SDCE setup or the 8 rib one. You will be fine.
2. On a stock engine you should see about 450 rwhp
3. Stock engine, you can run up to 8#
4. Yes
5. You only hear it at idle. I love the Whine

so u dont really hear much of a difference while reving? i really want something that just sounds like a beast... i already did exhaust which has definitly made it louder... but a kid can always want more... also you say that vortech has a better belt system... could a procharger supercharger just get better belts to make it better?

You can't really hear the blower about idle.
Yes, SDCE makes a good 8-rib tensioner. I think the new 8-rib that ATI puts out is also good now.
I will be running the SDCE unit. And most run that one.

I have a Procharger D1SC. Worth the extra money over the P1- you don't have to spin it as much for the boost and you have plenty of room to grow for more power.

go with the D1SC dont waste your time with the P-series......it only costs a little more and well worth it especially if wanting more boost in the future. Contact Bob at EPP or PM him for a quote.....they are quite inexspensive considering the gains you get from it.
