    Ls6 Intake??

What else do I need to install this intake on my '98 Z28? Does my stock TB fits or do I have to install an aftermarket TB? How much Horsepower increase should I expect from this intake?

It is a direct bolt on, the external dimensions are the same as the stock LS1 intake.

However, you will need to modify the bottom of the new intake to clear the coolant lines. There is a crosshatch pattern on the bottom, just take a dremel to it in order to clear away enough so that the bottom of the intake doesn't touch the coolant lines on top of the valley cover.

The stock TB will fit, along with the stock linkage, ect. There is no EGR on the LS6, so you'll have to get rid of the EGR system.

You should gain between 10-15WHP from switching to the LS6 intake. However, maximum gains will be realized if you install Long Tube Headers to compliment it.

There a ls6 crossover pipe for the coolant, does this prevent you from having to mod the intake? I saw one on a web site, but wasn't exactly sure if that would prevent the need to do any grinding on the intake.
    I think this is it.

I am asking here, cause I would like to pick up a ls6 intake for mine too

I've got an LS6 intake off an 04 z06 Corvette for $325 shipped and I'll accept paypal. Let me know if your interested. I have an ad in the for sale sections for other LS6 supporting items.

I was going to go with ls6. Decided to just spend an extra 200 bucks and get a 78mm, then get it ported for about 50 bucks. Instead of bolting on 10-15 hp with the ls6, I should be bolting on about 25, plus letting my already starving for air engine breathe a little better than ls6.

Yes, the LS6 version of the coolant line means you won't have to make any mods to the intake.
