I read a article in GM High Performance about this very combo and they were able to get the HP out of it.......SLP worked with AFR to put this combo together.......

I thought the same thing but they said with the cam and the flow of the heads it was possible........I know SLP will not put something out there unless they can attain it on a consistent basis.....can't beat their bang for the buck though.....I've always said that about SLP.....

The 225 heads with the right cam will give you excellent peak HP number but remember that's peak - like at 6000 RPM where hopefully you don't spend a lot of time unless you're racing this car mostly. The smaller 205 cc runner won't give you the peak numbers but again, with the right cam will give better down lower TQ - where you spend more of your time and feel it in the SOP meter.

The best upgrades are about the right combo and set up. Be honest about how you plan to use the car and build a combo around that.
