this is for the guy who was asking about his uncles srt 10,,,,,,,,this is my stock srt 10 against a modded Lighting and my wifes stock c6 vette.......if youre uncl dont know how to launch or hit 3rd you will have no trouble,,,,,it is hard to launch this truck and hit 3rd with the stock shifter....and the one huy who was saying its better to race the truck from a roll , you are wrong , my truck is very strong from a 15 mph roll. its better to race from a dig because traction is really a issue from a dig

It's been my experience that whoever honks it off has the upper hand. You should do the honking next time you race the Lightning...

LOL, that was hillarious. It appeared to me the dude in the lightening didn't space his honks apart evenly, and actually shorted the third one and was getting the jump just about everytime. That seemed to make the difference between winning or losing for him.
Neat to watch, but from a standing start it would be much more of a race to have one of the sideline spectators to wave you off rather than honking. Thats what we did back in the day, and it's fair that way.
I could see where the honking would come in handy while rolling though, although we never did that either.
Pretty neat though, enjoyed that. Larry.

yes i plan on modding my truck as soon as i can get of this boat,"i work in the gulf of mexico " i have already ordered the computer upgrade, traction bars and a j&b air intake.......after my next trip i plan on adding exhaust and a 50 shot......than that should satisfy me....if any of yall live near panama city fl, get up with me and we will run and have some fun....me and my wife race at least 1 time a week to see who is going to do the dishes for that week.
