Hello all I have got a problem with my 04 GTO with 18,400 miles on the clock. I have started to notice a sound when the car is in neutral. It sounds like a wirling sound and it is very faint. I can't notice it outside of the car. If I press the clutch pedal in it will fade away. I am hoping my extended warranty will cover the problem. From reading the fine print it will cover only lubricated parts and will not cover the clutch or throw out bearing. After doing some research online I am pretty sure it could be a bearing problem but which one? I don't think it is a throw out bearing because if it was I would be hearing a noise when I press the clutch pedal in. Has anyone of you had a simular problems? And what other bearing could it be? Or could it even be something else? I could really use your imput!
