    the answer is yes i did it to my 94z, but only a 97 cluster will work with the conversion. Now you can get a dash from any 97-02 car, reason on the cluster is cause the 97 car is wired pretty much the same as the cars back but 98 -up they changed all together. i got my info from a guy that done it too. check out conversions you should turn up something ....goodluck
