so i just got home from kuwait, went to florida to pick up my 98 t/a that i left with my parents. before i start the drive back to san diego i needed to get my oil changed, so i went to the closest shop, i pulled up and left my car running for a minute while i was waiting in line. one of the guys that works there walks up to me and asks if i have a "cam" in my car. i told him just yea, and he asked if i wanted to race so i asked what he had. he said a 90 5.0 and it was stock, i said "yea everyone is stock" then he proceeded to tell me that its a 347 stroker with all this work done. so after my oil change he followed me out to the road and his car sounded mean. while pulling out he gets sideways tryin to show off, he pulls up next to me, doin about 20 in 1st gear, i beap 3 times and hit it. it seamed like he wasnt even getting on it, by the time i pulled 2nd i was already 1 car length ahead so at the end of 2nd i just let off cause i was pullin so hard. turned around in the other direction to race again and the same outcome in the 2nd race. i think its funny how guys with 5.0's think thier cars are fast even with work done, you have to put a lot of money into those cars to get them moving.
